In Indonesia, we’re helping families create better and more resilient livelihoods for themselves.
To meet the food and income needs of their families, we’re training farmers in sustainable techniques and equipping them with nutritious biofortified crops that attract a higher market value. This means they can grow enough to feed their family, as well as generate income to pay for things like education for their children.
We’re also helping individuals, particularly women, to access small loans. These loans can give families the opportunity to create and grow small businesses, which means they don’t need to rely solely on agriculture for income.
By supporting families through economic opportunities and by improving their access to reliable sources of nutritious food, we’re helping them control their futures.
